Swiss SME is looking for a board manufacturer that produces or a research & development partner that develops an open-pore, air-permeable, flame retardant, lightweight board. The board size is approximately 3.0 m x 1.2 m. The product can be redeveloped or delivered as already existing board material. It will be used in the building industry. The SME seeks a partner for a manufacturing or a technical cooperation agreement possibly including development.
A Swiss SME is searching for either a board manufacturer or a research & development partner that is able to produce or to develop an open-pore, air-permeable, non-flammable or flame retardant, lightweight board. The board size is rather big, namely approximately 3.0 m x 1.2 m. The semi-finished product can be delivered from anywhere in the world and will be finished, processed and distributed by the Swiss SME. The product can be redeveloped or be an already existing board material that will be delivered to them. Alternatively, an R&D partner could help to develop the semi-finished product and another company could produce the boards for the Swiss SME (in a license and/or secrecy order). The finished product will be used in the general building industry. Company background: The Swiss SME operates in the global market and has partnerships with sales partners, architects and product manufacturers. The SME serves the building industry with their products. The company wants to introduce this new product to further develop its product range. Its quality management system is certified ISO 9001:2015 and it has the following product certificates: EPD – Environmental Product Declaration and HPD – Health Product Declaration. Cooperation: The SME is currently looking for partners who have the opportunity to co-develop or produce the new product. They seek collaborations with other companies or universities of applied sciences to further develop their in-house products. Depending on the stage of development, the cooperation would be under a manufacturing agreement or a technical cooperation agreement. The intended partnership may take different forms: a development project or a long term agreement to supply the semi-finished product. It ideally also includes joined collaboration for the development of future new products.
