With the convening of the General Assembly, LombardIA enters a new phase. This initiative for governance and development in Artificial Intelligence, launched by the Lombardy Region, aims to make the Lombardy territory and its research and innovation ecosystem a national and European reference point for the development and adoption of Artificial Intelligence technologies.
 
The goal is to create the conditions to fully seize growth opportunities linked to ongoing technological trends and effectively address the profound transformations that arise from them.
 
The Lombard General Assembly aims to promote an interdisciplinary discussion with key sector players and initiate a structured dialogue with interested stakeholders, aiming to create a solid and collaborative network that can drive innovation and economic growth through AI.
 
Public institutions, trade associations, universities and research centers, large industries, SMEs, innovative startups, investment funds, technology clusters, specialized foundations, and individual experts and researchers are all invited to be part of this initiative.
