The Swiss organisation for economic promotion supports developers and producer of drone software or hardware or UAV to use the infrastructure such as a hangar to store drones and tools, workshop space for small adjustments and office space to get the paperwork done, as well as sleeping space for long testing nights. A highly experienced team on the ground will support the companies in the organisational and regulatory set-up of the testing operations and crosslink them to potential business and research partners. Technologies that have already been tested on the site include vertical take-off and landing (VTOL), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) picking up and transporting goods, as well as collision avoiding software. The Swiss organisation is looking for developer and/or producer of drone or UAV software or hardware to test technology on the airfield against a fee for a commercial agreement with technical assistance. There is also the possibility to be active in the regional network of peer companies.
