The university team has a new proposal of construction of sports line markings on a multifunctional sports playground and is looking for a licencee.

There has been a new innovation developed by the team of researchers at the technical university in Bratislava region in Slovakia. New construction of switchable sports line markings with different advantages (e.g. highlighting desired lines and colors) on a multifunctional sports playgrounds is now available for the market. Institution is looking for a partner from the private sphere to license the technology.

Nowdays, multifunctional sports playgrounds are used for various sports activities. Different sports use different line sports markings, with each sport having its own specific lines. There are several lines drawn on the playground and individually for each sport is markings are marked with a different color. However, such marking reduces the clarity of the playing area and can lead to game errors. A team of inventors from the university in Bratislava region in Slovakia designed an innovative technical solution, which it concerns of construction of sports line markings on a multifunctional sports playground. The proposed construction of sports line marking on a multifunctional sports playground is built directly into the floor of the playground or otherwise installed on the surface and consists of special layers. The usability of the proposed solution is possible on sports grounds, where different sports activities are performed on one area, in which different line markings are used. The application of the proposed construction is also possible in the construction of new playgrounds, or in the reconstruction of older playgrounds. The institution is seeking an industrial partner for licensing for the further development and commercionalization of mentioned technology.
