UK company in the educational sector is bringing science learning to life through interactive clothing linked to a free app for children and teachers. By utilising augmented reality technology, the company enables children to learn concepts digitally that would otherwise be dangerous, inaccessible or too expensive. It helps children learn about the human body in a fun and immersive way. The company is looking for museum and school merchandising re-sellers for distribution or licensing agreement.
The British company was launched in January 2016. They specialise in developing immersive experiences (through augmented and virtual reality) for children and adults in the form of educational games. Knowing about how challenging for schools is to teach science to children and to keep them engaged and interested, the company has come up with an idea to support teachers in educating children about how the human body works, in a fun and interactive way. The company has launched an augmented reality t-shirt paired with an app (available on Android and OIs). The app can be downloaded by a smartphone or a tablet and when the camera points into the t-shirt (selfie mode available), the image presents the human body and the app explains how different parts of the human body work. With beautifully designed augmented reality and 3D learning experiences children can explore the circulatory, respiratory and digestive systems with fully immersive 360 video. The users can also track their heart rate and see it animating live in the app. This educational product helps children learn about the human body in a fun and immersive way. The t-shirt is made of high quality 100% cotton, available in sizes: from children XS (ages 3-4) up to adult 2XL. Being very popular internationally, the app. is available in 11 different languages (English (UK and US), Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, German, Polish, Russian, Mandarin and Korean). Offering associated lessons, this product is already used in classrooms worldwide as a teaching tool to help engage children in learning. The company is looking for museums and school merchandising re-sellers for distribution agreements or to license their idea. Distribution pricing is available, allowing high margins to help support brand development and marketing of the products. The company has also other innovative immersive products in the development phase.
