The institute has established a world-class preclinical platform for image-guided minimally invasive interventions with 5 operating rooms equipped with last generation multimodal medical imaging (Interventional CT-scanner, robotised C-arm for 3D imaging, 1.5T interventional MRI, ultrasonography) together with rigid, flexible and ultrasound endoscopy. The institute has developed a wide range of in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo models to test medical devices, new procedures or workflows and it is able to develop tailored model on demand. Partners have access to professional conference and meeting rooms with HD video connection allowing live broadcast from the operating rooms and recording of operations. They are offering Contract Research Organizations services to biotech, medical device companies in the frame of subcontracting agreements.
