• Bioeconomy: join the ECRN & P4B Workshop about a new Toolkit on March 30th

Introducing the BSAT: Bioeconomy Strategy Accelerator Toolkit, in the framework of POWER4BIO project

In the framework of the POWER4BIO project, the European Chemical Regions Network (ECRN) organises the online event “Introducing the BSAT: Bioeconomy Strategy Accelerator Toolkit”.

To keep all the momentum and exploiting the experiences developed in the POWER4BIO project, the event will present the Bioeconomy Strategy Accelerator Toolkit (BSAT), a toolkit designed for guiding decision-makers in the review or development of regional bioeconomy strategies. Following the introduction to the BSAT as a useful tool to develop bioeconomy strategies in the regions, the event will present and recommend the establishment of bioeconomy driven working groups.

The Bioeconomy Strategy Accelerator Toolkit (BSAT) represents the POWER4BIO methodology implemented into an online platform for guiding decision-makers to review or develop regional bioeconomy strategies.

The toolkit is aimed to all kind of regions, regardless of its maturity in the field of bioeconomy. Overall, the BSAT will guide the user to the most suitable added value chains. It contributes to identifying specific regional assets, gaps/weaknesses, and how to develop tips on developing/strengthening its own regional bioeconomy strategy.

About ECRN

The European Chemical Regions Network (ECRN) brings together European regions in which the chemical industry plays a crucial role in economic development, growth, and employment. By facilitating interregional cooperation, policy development, and participating in European projects, the network advocates for a strong regional dimension in the EU chemical policy agenda to create European modern and sustainable value chains.
